Kerry Hill
Kerry Hill, director of the Singapore-based practice Kerry Hill Architects, has been an influential figure in South East Asian architecture over the past three decades. He has completed some of the most architecturally ambitious and resolved projects to be found in South-East Asia, work which is resolutely modern while in a traditional setting. Kerry’s practice has completed a significant body of work across the region, including a growing list of high quality hotel and resort work, a number of award-winning houses, mixed-use developments, and public projects.

Edward Tuttle
Edward Tuttle – one of Architectural Digest’s “Top 100 Architects in the World” – is the original designer of The Sukhothai.
Tuttle imbued the essence of the 13th century Sukhothai era into his design and the result was a contemporary hotel that exuded the grace, elegance and charm of that glorious age. Being born and educated in the United States but his career has a decidedly exotic quality.
Incredibly classic was Tuttle’s finished product that The Sukhothai today is an icon among the five-star luxury hotels. This property possesses an air of timeless Thai elegance.
Besides the legendary Sukhothai, Tuttle’s other major work in the past decade includes six Aman resorts in Thailand, Europe, Morocco, Indonesia and in the United States, and Hyatt properties such as the Park Hyatt Milan.

Pichitra Boonyarataphan
The hotel design of The Sukhothai Bangkok reflects Thai in every detail, right down to the staff-uniforms that bear the signature of Pichitra - designer to H.M. Queen Sirikit, Queen of Thailand.

Sakul Intakul
Engineer turned floral artist Sakul Intakul is well known for interpreting spiritual ideas through sculptural plant installations. With a folio that includes Royal commissions for the Queen of Thailand and total floral conceptual design for Bvlgari Hotels and Resorts, Bali, Sakul’s work possesses a distinctive line, texture, and sculptural quality. Being the author of several books on flower art, Sakul also lends his talents to product design and monthly magazine columns that are, of course, all florally motivated. His coffee-table book on flower design, Tropical Colors: the art of living with tropical flowers, is an international best-seller.
